Inter Milan are already planning for possible exits in goal and on the right flank, with Yann Sommer and Luis Henrique both facing uncertain futures.
Cristian Chivu publicly defended the pair after their struggles during the comeback win over Pisa.
However, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, reassurance has not brought long-term security.
Sommer is expected to leave at the end of the season, while Luis Henrique could depart as early as January.
The Swiss goalkeeper will start the Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund, but Inter have already identified his successor.
Inter Planning For Future Without Sommer & Luis Henrique

Guglielmo Vicario tops the shortlist. Tottenham value the Italian at around €30m, and Inter view him as a ready-made starter for the next cycle.
The situation on the wing remains more complex. Luis Henrique, signed from Marseille for €25m last summer, has struggled to settle.
Bournemouth and Besiktas have both shown interest. Inter are open to a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy under specific conditions.
At the same time, Inter are working on a return for Ivan Perisic. An agreement with the player is already in place.
“If the Dutch club go out of the Champions League, Inter will try to push the deal through,” writes the Gazzetta. The report also stresses that Henrique would only leave if a replacement arrives.

I didn’t like Henrique or Martinez GK or Diouf, I didn’t like asllani, I didn’t like sending Pavard on loan,
Bisseck was ok cos so cheap
And the loan for akanji is good.
We need investment – vicario is not it and another oap who’s left sided so won’t replace Henrique anyway is also not it.
We should have kept bellanova as back up.
And zalewski for his versatility across the park, could pass, more pace than most of our players and good off both feet.
Some real odd decisions from our management recently, frattesi is a cam, one of the best, a real frank lampard goal scorer, we knew that and we knew he wouldn’t fit the system but bought him anyway?!
Successive coaches have misused him and we are hindering the poor lads career.
I hope he gets a move soon and we reinvest properly but I fear we will waste another 50-60m on absolute garbage
man united beaten Arsenal.
Rubentus beaten c.unte
now let’s home roma beat ac bilan
c’e solo l’inter
Vicario is a great option, while Henrique just needs more time and trust to build his confidence, as does Frattessi. You can’t expect things to happen instantly; generally, every player needs moral support to show the best version of themselves, not judgment. Just look at Lautaro; how long have you thought he’s been with the team to reach his current level? Don’t keep repeating the same mistake of getting rid of players who truly love this club.
Henrique is definitely low on confidence. I’m not sure he fully understands the teams tactics. That may change, but who knows.
Fratessi is simply not a fit for this team. Our three midfielders are expected to keep possession and rotate in and out of defense. Fratessi can’t help but bomb forward all the time. He scores because of that but he doesn’t keep the tactical balance. That’s why two coaches over 3 or 4 years haven’t used him.
Regarding Frattesi, if that’s the case, perhaps an experiment could be done by placing him as a right wing-back, so that when in the attacking phase he can often rotate with the right mezzala midfielder usually occupied by Barrella, thus making it more difficult for the opponent to read the game pattern because our right wing-back will often enter the midfield, while the midfielder will often widen to make crosses
Lautaro despite his periods of low form consistently delivered 25+ g+a every season, beside the first he came in, even that one he showed solid performances despite often coming off bench. Luis started a lot of games this season, but he showed absolutely nothing. As for our future option on goal Vicario isn’t any better than Martinez. Either cash out on world class gk like Diogo Costa, or on a gk under 25 years who is believed to be a future star.
Rather than buying new players who are equally young and more expensive (except to replace aging players), I personally prefer Inter to be more daring in investing a lot of money to bring in good technical coaches, because I don’t think many of our players have good technical abilities in terms of accuracy of passing and shooting on the opponent’s goal. Then for Vicario, for me he is the right choice, in terms of characteristics he reminds me of Julio Cesar or Sebastian Frey, so I really like him, he has good reflexes, especially when dealing with close-range shots, and he also has the courage to go one-on-one with attackers from the opposing team.
top of my list is Pintus. but never mind.
he was re hired after the sacking of alonso.
don’t get this vicario news… caprile is a better choice for less or even the same amount of money and a lot younger. and then again we also have martinez. vicario was good for a bit but he’s now horrid
stop the bs Luis henrinque anit going no where
btw where are our money that we didnt use in the summer and they said we will use in the winter for reinforcements?? where are our reinforcements?? when will we sell Frattessi?? Acerbi??De Vrij?? our team was not complete in the summer and we are doing nothing once again….
this is a pure madness ..
We spend 35 mil on henrique and then we loan 36 years old persic……
and on top of that we desperately need CB, because Acerbi and De Vrij are dead, we could have used the money for Gila or the young italian defender that went to Liverpool
de vrij brings out the best of inter when he starts inter scores alot of goals
De Vrij is a great backup against smaller teams when we have 70% possession. Akanji should be in the center when the game is more balanced.
Ideally, Akanji takes over in the middle and we sign a young RCB to cover Bisseck
We need to sign a RCB who can actually defend, bisseck is better going forward than he is defending.
