Inter Milan teenager Francesco Pio Esposito is reportedly in line for a start in Wednesday’s must-win UEFA Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 20-year-old has emerged as a perfect partner for captain Lautaro Martinez.

Francesco Pio Esposito returned to the scoresheet in Friday’s 6-2 rout of Serie A minnows Pisa, netting his third league goal of the season.

In addition to his domestic contribution, the young striker has scored once and added two assists in six Champions League appearances.

With Marcus Thuram out of form, Cristian Chivu is reportedly considering fielding Pio Esposito from the first minute.
