Inter Milan could already be running away with their 21st Serie A title, despite nearly half of the season still remaining.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Serie A giants have taken full advantage of a favorable fixture schedule.
Despite falling two goals behind inside the opening 25 minutes, Inter humbled Pisa on Friday.
Indeed, six different players were on the scoresheet as the Nerazzurri thumped Alberto Gilardino’s side 6-2 at home.
With AC Milan dropping points in last night’s clash against Roma, Inter are now five points clear at the table’s summit.
Inter Milan Waltzing Away with 21st Serie A Title

Cristian Chivu is on course to lead his side to the Scudetto in his first season in charge.
Indeed, last season’s UEFA Champions League finalists have hit a purple patch after October’s controversial defeat at Napoli.
They have since lost just once in Serie A, winning their last three league outings to consolidate their position at the top of the tree.
Another routine win could be around the corner as Lautaro Martinez and his teammates face Cremonese next weekend.

It will be all about the derby ahead against Milan, no doubt about that. It time to make a win, last two years results against them have really been dissapointing. If Chivu can manage a win the enigma of losing streak against “big teams” will blow away. So lets hope for that, but in the meantime don´t start taking wins against minor teams like Cremonese for granted, cause they are fighting for their exixtence in serie A.
Milan have been very lucky this season with teams with their keeper saving them over and over. However against smaller sides they struggle to win because small sides sit back I think that will continue to be the difference as it is so far
We have to run more away before Juve, Milan and Roma matches. Since we can’t beat rivals. 😛
the only true rival at the moment is Milan, whom we’ll need to beat in a direct clash. If that happens (not a given certainly) there won’t be any hurdles left on the way to the top. Then, the real pain will be restructuring the team in the summer…
I don’t know that they are going to fully restructure. I think Chivu has realized he can implement his philosophy within a 3-5-2. We desperately need cover on the right and we need 1 or 2 center backs. Susic will be more involved next year. We have 4 starting quality strikers and goalkeeper for Inter is the easiest position in Italy. Onana was worth 50m after his year there
