Premier League side Bournemouth have reportedly seen their opening bid for Luis Henrique rejected by Inter Milan.
According to FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri had a good reason to decline the Cherries’ proposal.
Henrique’s future at San Siro is hanging by a thread following an underwhelming first half of the season.
Despite being handed a lifeline, courtesy of Denzel Dufmries’ injury, the 24-year-old winger has failed to impress Cristian Chivu.
Therefore, he could be counting his final days in Serie A.
Why Inter Milan Declined Bournemouth Offer for Luis Henrique

Inter paid around €23 million to sign Luis Henrique from Olympique Marseille last summer.
Naturally, the Serie A pacesetters are hoping to recoup their investment.
Selling Henrique in a cut-price deal would see the Nerazzurri record a capital loss, something they cannot afford right now.
However, Bournemouth’s offer fell short of Inter’s expectations, even though the Cherries planned to land the Brazilian on a permanent basis.
Meanwhile, Besiktas remain the race for the 24-year-old, but they would ideally sign him on loan with an option to buy.
