Inter Milan talisman Hakan Calhanoglu has been in the pits since mid-January due to a nasty calf injury.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Turkish midfielder could return to action at the beginning of February.
Hakan Calhanoglu suffered a muscle injury in the closing stages of Inter’s 2-2 home draw against Napoli a fortnight ago.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu was unable to call upon his star midfielder in the last two Serie A matches.
Furthermore, Inter will be without the 31-year-old for tomorrow night’s high-stakes clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Inter Milan Star Hakan Calhanoglu to Recover in Early February

Calhanoglu is likely to miss Inter’s next three matches, including the upcoming Coppa Italia quarter-final tie against Torino.
However, he could be in contention for the team when the Nerazzurri take on Sassuolo on February 8.
Otherwise, he should be back for a heavily anticipated Derby d’Italia showdown against Juventus in mid-February.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries is working on his recovery from ankle surgery.
Indeed, the Dutchman is keen to put himself back at Chivu’s disposal by the end of February.
