The rise of Federico Dimarco shows no sign of slowing as the Inter wing-back continues to reach new levels in both performance and physical development.
The Dimarco impact now stretches well beyond goals and assists.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Dimarco’s numbers tell only part of the story.
Of his six goals in all competitions this season, four have broken deadlocks: at home to Sassuolo, away at Parma, at San Siro against Napoli, and most recently in Germany after 80 minutes of stalemate.
Those strikes underline his ability to deliver in decisive moments.
Dimarco Improving On All Fronts For Inter Milan

His form in 2026 has been especially impressive.
Dimarco has produced six goal contributions, goals and assists combined, in just his last five Serie A appearances.
Across all competitions, he stands out among defenders in Europe’s top five leagues.
He is the only one to register more than five goals and more than five assists this season, currently sitting at six goals and seven assists.
Yet Gazzetta stress that his growth is also physical.
Dimarco has spoken before about feeling stronger and more complete, and his displays back that up.
“Dimarco sprints, runs, crosses, shoots and scores,” the paper writes. “In movement and from set pieces, like the other night in Germany. His repertoire is complete.”
In the Ruhr, he even wore the captain’s armband for the first time, adding emotion to an already memorable performance.
Dimarco’s evolution now makes him one of Inter’s most decisive and reliable weapons.
