Serie A leaders Inter Milan have reportedly made initial contact over in-demand Mainz defender Kacper Potulski.
According to Sky Sport Germany via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are keen to beat fierce competition for the youngster’s signature.
Potulski joined Mainz from Legia Warsaw as a teenager in 2023.
However, the 18-year-old has become a regular first-team star for Urs Fischer’s side this season.
Indeed, he has made 18 appearances across all competitions, including seven in the Bundesliga.
Inter Milan Make Contact with Mainz over Kacper Potulski

Potulski’s contract at the MEWA Arena runs out in 2028.
However, the Polish starlet could part ways with Mainz much sooner, with a raft of European clubs vying for his services.
In addition to Inter, AC Milan and Como are the remaining two Serie A sides interested in the prodigious center-back.
Furthermore, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea are also in the picture.
Last but not least, Strasbourg has emerged as his next destination, especially if a move to Stamford Bridge materializes.
Indeed, the Blues would send Potulski to France on loan.

He’s a backup at a team that’s 15 in bundesliga….a championship that’s weaker then Seria A.
