Yann Bisseck admitted Inter Milan must improve despite securing a dramatic 3-2 victory over Juventus in the Derby d’Italia.
Speaking to Sky Sport after the final whistle, the German defender praised the opposition while underlining the importance of the result.
“It was a tough match. We’re happy we won,” Bisseck said.
“We played against a very strong opponent. Juventus played well and controlled phases of the game. Sometimes you have to suffer, and we suffered a lot.”
However, he acknowledged that Inter can raise their level.
“We can do better. In the end, winning is what matters. Sometimes you also have to talk about the quality of the opponent. Juventus had a great match, even with ten men. We’re not completely satisfied, but we needed the win.”
Inter 3-2 Juventus – Bisseck Highlights Chivu Impact

Bisseck also highlighted the mental work done by coach Cristian Chivu.
“He’s doing an excellent job. He talks a lot about the mental aspect. Sometimes football is decided in the head. After the 2-2, which hurt us, we stayed in the game.”
In a separate interview with Inter TV, Bisseck reinforced that message.
“The most important thing is that we won, but we must do better. We made many mistakes today. Juventus also played a great match. The coach always tells us that football is decided mentally. We did the right things when we needed to.”
Asked what made the difference, Bisseck pointed to mentality.
“We have a great desire to win. We’ve always had quality and we knew that. We must stay in the game, and today we did that well.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming European trip to Bodo, the defender dismissed concerns about the cold weather.
“I played two years in Denmark, and in Germany, where I was born, it’s also cold. That’s not a problem.”
For now, however, Inter can celebrate a crucial derby victory, one built on resilience as much as quality.
dramatic??? that’s real controversi. It had to be Bastoni punished by RED CARD for diving instead of Kalulu. It’s shameful celebrating his cheating. It’s not intermilan’s DNA.
Haha I was so happy to see the most corrupted club in Italian football getting frustrated ,now they know how it feels .So verrry happy
