Weston McKennie is reportedly one step away from extending his contract with Juventus despite a genuine interest from Inter Milan.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the parties are on the verge of finalizing a new deal.
McKennie’s current contract in Turin runs out at the end of the season.
Therefore, Inter Milan chief Beppe Marotta was keen to sign the 27-year-old as a free agent in June.
However, Marotta’s hopes of completing another Bosman signing have suffered a major blow.
Inter Milan Set to Miss Out on Juventus Star Weston McKennie as Contract Extension Looms

Weston McKennie has been indispensable for Juventus this season, making 36 appearances across all competitions.
Furthermore, the former Schalke midfielder has racked up seven goals and seven assists, emerging as one of Juve’s standout perfomers.
With that in mind, it’s unsurprising that the record-time Serie A champions are desperate to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
Moreover, the Turin giants have offered McKennie a bumper new contract, worth around €4 million net per season, including bonuses.
As it appears, the player has already accepted the proposal.

Hopefully we sell Thuram while he is in more or less prime condition, and bring someone who is not lazy as thuram
good news!
