Inter Milan suffered a 2-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt, with Yann Bisseck expressing his heartbreak after the Champions League setback.
Speaking to Inter TV via FCInterNews, Bisseck couldn’t hide his disappointment for bowing out of Europe’s elite club competition.
Inter dominated possession from the get-go, but clear-cut chances were hard to come by.
Despite boasting 74% possession and making 12 attempts on goal, the Nerazzurri couldn’t find the net in the first half.
Furthermore, the second half started in the same vein, with Cristian Chivu’s side testing Bodo/Glimt’s resolve without truly unsettling their backline.
Then, a moment of pure madness saw Manuel Akanji gift Bodo/Glimt the opener with a woefully misplaced back pass.
Kjetil Knutsen’s side extended their lead in the 72nd minute, making it impossible for Inter to bounce back.
However, Alessandro Bastoni softened the blow four minutes later.
Nevertheless, Inter lost the tie 5-2 on aggregate.
Yann Bisseck Blames Bad Luck for Inter Milan 1-2 Bodo/Glimt Defeat

Star defender Yann Bisseck, who returned to the starting lineup after being rested in Norway, put on a decent performance.
Unlike Akanji, he looked calm and collected on the ball, often trying to provide depth on the right flank.
“We lacked a bit of luck,” Bisseck said. “The ball just didn’t want to go in. They did what they had to do, and I can only congratulate them. I
“I’m not satisfied, but I also want to praise my team; we tried every way possible to turn it around, but couldn’t. Still, we fought to stay in the game until the end.
“There’s disappointment, but tomorrow is another day. We still have two competitions where we aim to win trophies, and we’ll do everything to achieve that.”

Thuram, Lautaro, Esposito and Bonny… Who from these 4 strikers would be a starter in top european clubs who can potentially lift UCL trophy this season, like Arsenal, Real, Bayern, PSG, City, Liverpool?
If you depend of players like them in big european matches like these, then ball will hardly go in…
100% agree.
You should ask who will has Chuvi as the coach ?!
liverpool or arsenal
Don’t be naive pal
chivu is arsenal type, but not in 3 defense
the answer is simple: none of them
vrakela : where were yours four “fantastic” players today ? ….complete garbage all 4.of them. And fifth was Chivi himself .for quite diotic selection of starters.
