Inter Milan are on course to win their 21st title in Serie A, sitting ten points clear of nearest competitors AC Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the financial rewards for winning the Scudetto and potentially the Coppa Italia would be substantial.

Cristian Chivu faltered in his first European season in charge of the Nerazzurri.

Indeed, Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt secured a stunning 5-2 aggregate win over the runaway Serie A leaders in the playoff round.

Therefore, Inter must now focus on completing their first domestic double since 2010.

It feels like the 21st Scudetto is already a done deal. Barring some highly unexpected developments down the final stretch, Inter should claim the league crown.

Furthermore, winning the Scudetto would earn the San Siro giants roughly €16 million.

Meanwhile, Chivu’s men will take on Cesc Fabregas’ Como in an exciting two-legged Coppa Italia semi-final tie, seeking a landmark 10th title.

Lifting the cup trophy would bring in an additional €7 million in prize money.

Therefore, completing the domestic double would see Inter pocket around €23 million in total.
