Hakan Calhanoglu is back: the Turkey international has fully recovered and returns to the Inter Milan squad for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Genoa at San Siro, taking his place on the bench as the Nerazzurri look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
According to Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, Calhanoglu’s return does not immediately threaten Piotr Zielinski’s place in the starting XI.
The Polish international continues as the regista, with Barella and Mkhitaryan the frontrunners to start either side of him.
Frattesi and Sucic are competing for those same spots and will push for inclusion.
Inter Vs Genoa – Calhanoglu On The Bench, Carlos Augusto Starts

In defence, the suspended Bastoni’s absence opens the door for Carlos Augusto on the left side of the back three, providing cover for Dimarco ahead of him.
Luis Henrique currently holds a slight advantage over Darmian for the right wing-back berth.
The most competitive battle is up front.
Marcus Thuram is expected to start, with Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny scrapping for the second striking position.
It is a decision Chivu may leave until the last moment given both players’ recent contributions.
