Ange-Yoan Bonny earned a broadly positive set of ratings from Italian media after Inter Milan’s 2-0 victory over Genoa, with outlets recognising his energy and movement despite the Frenchman being unable to complete the match after picking up a calf injury.
The young forward was lively throughout, particularly in the first half, causing problems for the Genoa defence and testing Bijlow on two occasions.
TuttoMercatoWeb praised him, via L’Interista, as “generous and mobile, doing better than Thuram and causing anxiety for the opposition backline especially in the first half.”

Tuttosport were similarly appreciative, describing Bonny as “lively” and noting his two attempts on goal.
Indeed, before adding that “he left exhausted with a problem to his right calf,” a concern that will worry Cristian Chivu ahead of Tuesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final.
Corriere dello Sport and L’Interista were the most generous, both handing him a 7, while Gazzetta dello Sport and TMW were slightly more reserved at 6.
