Inter Milan target Guglielmo Vicario could reportedly lose a starting berth at Tottenham Hotspur amid Spurs’ underwhelming run of form.

According to FCInterNews, new manager Igor Tudor is considering benching the 29-year-old as a consequence of Tottenham’s rotten patch.

Four consecutive defeats have left the North London powerhouse in a precarious 16th place in the Premier League standings.

Indeed, Spurs sit only one point clear of 18th-placed West Ham United, with relegation becoming a distinct possibility.

Guglielmo Vicario could pay the price for Tottenham’s humiliating run in the Premier League.

With the former Empoli man conceding at least twice in his last eight league outings, it’s barely surprising that Tudor wants to bench him.

Meanwhile, that decision could play into Inter’s hands, with the Nerazzurri looking to sign the Italian goalkeeper at the end of the season.

Indeed, the San Siro giants have identified Vicario as an ideal long-term replacement for veteran star Yann Sommer.

However, Spurs’ €30 million asking price could prove to be a huge stumbling block.
