Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly ‘dreaming’ of signing Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Nerazzurri scouts observed the German winger during Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Atalanta.
Bayern Munich demolished Raffaele Palladino’s side in the first leg of their last-16 tie in Bergamo, running out 6-1 winners.
In addition to finding the net, Serge Gnabry registered an assist in the first half before being replaced by Jamal Musiala at the break.
Meanwhile, Inter chiefs Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin were in the stands at the Gewiss Stadium, watching the game.
Inter Mlian ‘Dream’ of Signing Bayern Munich Winger Serge Gnabry
Though Ausilio and Baccin were likely there to observe Leon Goretzka, they also had an opportunity to take a closer look at Gnabry.
Widely regarded as one of the most lethal wingers in Europe’s top-five leagues, Gnabry has tallied eight goals and ten assists in all competitions this term.
However, his contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2028, and it’s hard to expect Bayern Munich to let him leave in the summer.
Furthermore, it would likely require a substantial financial sacrifice from Inter, considering the German star’s hefty salary and Bayern’s high valuation.
Either way, Gnabry remains on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist going into the summer transfer window.
We’ll get linked with loads of promising speedy talent and then end up extending Mikhi for another year or worse still bringing asllani back in lol
hahahhah
Gnabry is great, he has a lot of quality. That’s why I don’t think Inter would be interested in signing him.
Better go for Karim Adeyemi, six years younger and probably cheaper and less demands. I remember he´s been mentioned before on Inters lists. Great dribbler and good speed.
don’t worry, we won’t sign either Gnabri or Adeyemi, we’ll buy some trash instead .
