Guglielmo Vicario and Andriy Lunin have reportedly emerged as top candidates to replace Yann Sommer at Inter Milan next season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Tottenham Hotspur star remains the club’s highest priority.

Despite his decent form this season, Yann Sommer will not renew his expiring contract at San Siro.

Therefore, he will leave the Nerazzurri as a free agent in June, with the club already identifying several potential replacements.

Indeed, Guglielmo Vicario has positioned himself at the top of Beppe Marotta’s shortlist.

However, Spurs’ €30 million asking price could deter the runaway Serie A leaders from making a concrete offer.

Therefore, they have already set their sights on several other targets.

Inter Milan Identify Vicario & Lunin as Sommer Replacements

Lunin has had to settle for playing second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid.

However, the Ukrainian goalkeeper has grown frustrated with a lack of playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As a result, he could request a transfer in the summer, with Inter reportedly ready to pounce.

Meanwhile, the San Siro giants are still keeping close tabs on Cagliari star Elia Caprile.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are also eager to strengthen their backline, with Sassuolo’s Tarik Muharemovic catching Marotta’s attention.
