Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram endured a torrid afternoon against Atalanta and received the harshest verdict of any player on the pitch from Corriere dello Sport.
The newspaper, via FCInterNews, awarded him a damning 4.5 that reflects the magnitude of his missed opportunity in a draw that has further tightened the Scudetto race.
The France forward contributed to Inter’s opener.
However, he then spurned a golden chance to put the game to bed.
Indeed, after finding himself one-on-one with Carnesecchi and failing to convert.

Corriere were unsparing.
“He participates in the lead but has on his conscience the missed second goal, all alone in front of Carnesecchi. A hugely costly mistake.”
San Siro made its feelings known too, with the crowd expressing frustration on multiple occasions.
It is a moment that could haunt Inter before the season is out.
The contrast with Carlos Augusto could not have been sharper.
The Brazilian stepped into Bastoni’s left centre-back role and was immaculate throughout, earning a 7.
Indeed, the highest mark of any Inter player.
“The most attentive and most precise in defence,” Corriere write.
Then adding that he “saved several complicated situations in the second half.”
Elsewhere, Zielinski was one of the few others to impress, rated 6.5 for being “always calibrated and lucid in midfield.”
Pio Esposito earned a 6.5 too for his goal, with Corriere noting it would have been better to keep him on rather than introduce Bonny, who received a 5 for an attitude that “left something to be desired.”
Chivu was handed a 5.5, with Corriere flagging “doubts over some substitutions” and noting that “the derby has removed some confidence” from the squad.
Sucic, Luis Henrique and Akanji also fell below a six, while Sommer, Dumfries, Barella and Dimarco scraped passing grades in what was a collectively flat display.
He needs Lautaro so bad he’s so bad at shooting just terrible.
I would get rid of all our players except Carlos, Mhiki , Dumfries, Exposito and Bastoni.
As I mentioned before we are in the deep s**** with a new owner.

Not a f*** word of who did place him in that position .
In addition to that, Thuram failed to give a pass to Mhiki who placed himself in perfect position to score…twice. Bony did the same mistake too.
On other hand , Zielenski made a few mistakes that could cause us a goal and was absolutely invisible in attack.
Questions:
How come he was rated higher than Mhiki ?!
Why Mhicki did not start that game ?
It is so clear, that Mhiki supports and makes DeMarco so efficient when they play together.
I personally think and always thought Thuram was hyped up a lot. He is an average striker, and very inconsistent.
