Tottenham Hotspur star Guglielmo Vicario has reportedly agreed to join Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan in the summer.

According to L’Interista, it’s now up to the Nerazzurri to find an agreement with Spurs.

Fighting tooth and nail to secure Premier League survival, Igor Tudor’s men are eager to avoid all off-field distractions.

Therefore, any negotiations to bring Guglielmo Vicario back to Serie A may have to wait until the end of the season.

However, the 29-year-old seems to be enthusiastic about swapping North London for San Siro in the upcoming transfer window.

Vicario has grown frustrated with Tottenham’s disappointing season.

Despite winning the Europa League title last term, Spurs have experienced another shambolic campaign.

A potential relegation from the Premier League would be a disaster for a club of this stature.

However, it may further Inter’s case and facilitate Vicario’s transfer to Milan.

Meanwhile, Piero Ausilio wanted to bring Vicario to Inter in the summer of 2023, only for Tottenham to beat him to the punch.

Fast forward three years, and Ausilio could fulfill his old wish, but he’ll have to piece together a decent proposal to convince Spurs to sanction a sale.
