Aleksandar Kolarov steps into the spotlight at Fiorentina on Sunday as Inter Milan’s acting head coach, with Cristian Chivu watching from the stands while serving his suspension following his red card against Atalanta.
According to Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Chivu trusts his assistant completely.
Indeed, a “blind faith” already demonstrated on multiple occasions when Kolarov’s instincts and ideas have proven correct.
The outlet describe the Serbian as “the voice of Chivu’s conscience, practically his shadow across the course of a match.”
He is always available for confrontation, quick to absorb emotional outbursts and share private confidences.
Fiorentina Vs Inter – Media Hail Kolarov & Chivu Chemistry
The chemistry between the two developed quickly and naturally.
Born from a shared background as former players who followed similar career paths.
Both left-footed, intelligent defenders who passed through Roma before arriving at Inter in different eras.
Their characters balance each other out.
Chivu is the more reflective and composed of the two, determined not to let the emotion of the moment cloud his decisions.
Kolarov is more instinctive and impulsive, a constant source of adrenaline on the touchline, quick to challenge the fourth official and maintain a live connection with the coaching staff in the stands.
He is, as Corriere put it, always a torrent on the sideline. On Sunday, that energy belongs to him alone.

This is all happening to het Simeone next year. Even if we win the league with bad results like this management will have a stronger case to sack Chivu and get Simeone
It’s happening because we suck
4 shots on goal in total and 2 of them are in the last 10 minutes. That explained team now has a really issue on mentality.
I could see the players they don’t like Chivu and they don’t want Chivu to win the league. You could see from the players they are not ready to win the league.
The risk of throwing the Scudetto away is very real at this point. Without Lautaro we are so weak in attack. These things happen when the mercato is just about buying cheap nobodies and hoping it will work out.
I think teams(good ones) have figured out Chivu system and without intensity Inter are sitting ducks waiting to concede. Fiorentina had more energy and didn’t score a freak goal rather sustained pressure for 30 minutes plus. While that’s happening Inter were just coasting not knowing what to do while Fiorentina were looking for the goal. Now Inter have Roma and Como and can lose those 2 matches if they continue on the same trend of being too passive and scared to play. Unfortunately Lautaro won’t be enough as it’s the whole team and especially the coach. Many Inter players pointing their teammates to go back to the keeper and only in the final minutes of the math that some players didn’t want to listen instructions to going back to Sommer.
Our crisis began when Lautaro got injuried.
The players don’t like Chivu they want him to be sacked that’s why they have deliberately playing awful.
They played the same last year at the end of the season. They are too old to play an entire season.
Once again is happening that we can’t close the game on time, kinda get lucky that we didn’t lose. Really need captain back. I don’t know why Chivu didn’t play with 1 striker up front since Lautaro’s injury. He isn’t blind to see that the rest of our strikers don’t have chemistry together at all to play in pair.
Forza Inter…with these refs – thats it. We’ll win the double. Forza Inter
lmao u always blame everyone but the team. wake up to reality
The team is good. Little moments changed the game. The ref did not gave them cards for fouls that were yellow and on the next second gave us yellow for simmilar foul. And completely killed the left wing. So they were alowed to play with the intensity that we get punished for. And them we got a bit lost. But this is my team and i’m supporting them. Always. Dont know what plastic gloryhunters are half of the users here. You dont see the fans leaving the stadium when we suffer. But if you are there i doubt you’ll even raise your voice to support them. Prove me wrong if yoy must. I only want my team to win. Dont really care about the whole drama here. You try playing 50 games season, eurocup, 65 games season, world club cup, 60 games season. With national team duties whenever you get a 7 days gap. Some teams dont have many national team players. And yes
Kephren made a foul for 4-3..napoli got a penalty present, comusso choked pio twice, ricci made a pen, atalanta scored from a foul situation, davide got fouled and nothing, last night pogracic played volley and dazn didnt even showed the replay.
Follow up on chifi appointments and see how we perform
The risk of throwing the Scudetto away is very real now. Without Lautaro we are so weak in attack. These things happen when the mercato is just about buying cheap nobodies and hoping it will work out.
This is so f-ing sluggish.
So much running and so little quality!
What is Thuram and Bonny even doing? They used to be pacey and playing with intensity.
Inter cannot create chances and they play so effing slow. Every team can easily defend with 11 men behind the ball making scoring impossible.
They better step the fk up against Roma. No excuses!
I don’t think Inter forgot how to attack but rather now they are too scared to drop points which means they will 100% drop points. They treated Fiorentina like peak Real Madrid by simply not attacking. The Pio goal was a gift after that Inter were just not that serious in attack with every ball being preferred to go back to Sommer so he can go long. Thuram once again just terrible 0 shots so why start him. Inter just wish opponents won’t score for the entire 90 minutes while they pass around like a training match.
i hope the international break will bring much recovery and confidence for inter player.
We need this international break take this as a restart and we can get back to form as milan have the harder games its still possible we win scudetto
Another game, same bs.
Are we really happy with how we perform as no changes are made in the way we play?
frattesi really offers nothing
Congrats Ac milan or c,.unte for another easy Scudettto then some loser fans would defend inter and accuse me of anti inter.
Inter is trash the entire club need overhaul
Gongrats Davide.
Reminder!

I will maintain my statement, inter will be fighting the relegation zone. You deserved what you get inter for hiring a manager that he needs at least 2 years to do better.
You’re not a fan. Forza Inter. We’ll win it all. Cry me a river
Niko is right. You’re not a fan. All you do is talk negative nonsense. Real fans can admit the teams weaknesses and still pull for them. You actively want Inter to fail.
Very probably we’ll lose Scudetto. It’s not fair. We were 10 points clear from second.
Now forza Italia,
Inter were playing passively for the entire match. Just too many back passes to Sommer who goes long and lose the ball to start again defending. Thuram terrible as always and the more likely player to score was Pio from minute 1 to 94.It’s clear Lautaro is a big miss
If Milan hadn’t faltered last week, that difference would have practically disappeared. Chivu is lucky that the other Serie A rivals are incompetent enough to mask his terrible work and how unfit he is to coach Inter. He doesn’t win big games, only against small teams, not to mention the Champions League embarrassment. If he lets that title slip away to Milan, it will be one of the worst shames in the club’s history. And the main culprit is the board.
And Fiorentina had tense match in midweek. This should be easy win for us.
And remember, we play next Roma and Como. With this kind of the game we’ll lose both very easy.
Also Lazio got better so at least 5 games inter will lose.
irrespective of what the final result of this game will be, we have deserved to lose it.
Scudetto bye bye
WTF is your problem? How many people here hoped for the Scudetto when the season start?
You keep telling about Milan and Napoli. F*ck Milan, F*ck Napoli and their fans! Juve too!
Let me remember you what you said at the start of the season.

“I will maintain my statement, inter will be fighting the relegation zone. You deserved what you get inter for hiring a manager that he needs at least 2 years to do better.”
LOL Scudetto bye bye
If we have to lose it, hope Napoli wins it with back of injured stars.
inter is trash now they blame it on injuries,
Who’s to blame this time? Henrique is nowhere near the 1st team. I wanna see who the scapegoat will be?
Why the obsession with defending Henrique? Can he change the course of the game like Lautaro and Dima can? NO. Can he constantly deliver solid performances? NO. He had a couple ok games, that’s about it. That kind of play we can expect from Kamate and rest of our youth. Not from a “reinforcement” who cost us 25mil.
this mediocrity can’t continue. Only shining light this game was barella and pio
Of course they scored. I knew it.
Anyone with half a brain could tell the goal for them was coming
Almost penalty for Viola.
Can’t wait to have lautaro back. Our pressing game suck without him and our passing between the lines is almost non-existent. We really need him.
He is the hearbeat of the team. Thuram is a lazy ghost.
Without Lautaro there is no one to link to midfield or properly high-press. We need a number 10 if Lautaro is not on the field.
Can we resist lat 20 minutes?
Finally Thuram out.
if inter to win, they. must score 2 more goals. Yes 2 more.
Cause the ref is pushing this violet rtards
I’m fine with 1:0, win, clean sheet and 3 points, but how Viola is playing well, we need second goal.
in this match, they must score two more, this week all rivals won including como
THURAM IS FINISHED. A kid is actually doing much better than him
Which kid is that? Because I see both playing shit. Pio got the goal and has done nothing ever since. He’s a kid and I understand but don’t discredit Thuram for his hold up play. If I wasn’t a true interista I’d probably want to see Inter suffer just because of how we talk and insult some of our players. It’s such a shame.
Nope. Pio can get a pass but not Thuram. He got the ball in dangerous positions like 4-5 times and only once he was able to make something decent. One more reason Pio can get a pass is that he scored the goal and the more likely to score the next goal. Thuram can’t keep doing the same shit every match and not try to make something happen Inter don’t get judged with holdup play but goals and Thuram seemed to forgot how to do. He went the ENTIRE FIRST HALF WITH 0 SHOTS. Unacceptable !
In fact between Pio and Thuram who had better holdup play in the first half. I bet the coach if he wants this match to won he must really tell off Thuram to step up not Pio
Normally I’d agree with you, but Thuram hasn’t shown that he cares in the slightest for almost a year. Without Lautaro’s passion, the front line has no urgency whatsoever. Pio can’t do it alone.
Fiorentina more dangerous this match, forget bout our goal.
Sorry but Fiorentina attacking a lot, I fear of draw. We need badly second goal.
But the ref dont call out fouls on us. Only fouls after we suffer and give us yellow. This league is rigged. Forza Inter. We’ll be champs against the fokin refs. Clear foul on hakan…yellow for dima on the follow up. Clear yellow for a foul on marcus…yellow for carlos on the follow up. Well fok me..viola beinf better. That beoch ref gives them every ball. Fok this. Forza Inter. No stopping us. Support your team interisti. Be objective too
And now Dimarco and Augusto will be replaced, but by who?
Well, Acerbi is getting ready. He will replace Augusto who already will miss next match.
What a treat. Thanks pio. Thanks niko. Forza Inter. I’m 10 min late for the game
Kolarov 1-0
Anyone crying about sommer??? Saving our season boys. Stop shitttting on my players and forza Inter
we miss dumfries ALOT. welcome back
Finally i get to watch an inter match.
yet this site is dead LOL
That was fast
Pio!!! Unlucky Barella. Now I want second for safety.
