Three Italian clubs are reportedly keen to sign exit-bound Inter Milan defender Matteo Darmian in the summer transfer window.

According to FCInterNews, Monza, Sassuolo, and Cremonese have set their sights on the 36-year-old star.

With only a few months left to run on his contract at San Siro, Matteo Darmian is counting his final days at Inter.

Indeed, the runaway Serie A leaders have no intention of renewing his expiring deal.

Therefore, the former AC Milan and Manchester United defender will be able to choose his next club in June.

Three Italian Sides Show Interest in Outgoing Inter Milan Ace Matteo Darmian

Darmian joined Inter from Parma in 2020. Though he initially moved to San Siro on loan, the Nerazzurri made his transfer permanent the following summer.

Furthermore, Darmian has been a valuable first-team member for years.

Unfortunately, recurring fitness problems have seen his influence dwindle this term, significantly reducing his playing time.

Indeed, he has made just six competitive appearances under Cristian Chivu and is still waiting for his first Serie A start this season.

Despite his recent struggles, there’s no shortage of interest in the Italian veteran.

Cremonese, Sassuolo, and Monza are all eager to sign him in the summer.
