Report – Inter Milan In Pole Position To Sign Red Star Belgrade Prodigy As Personal Terms Agreed

Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly leading the race to sign Red Star Belgrade prodigy Vasilije Kostov. 

According to Serbian news outlet Nova via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are in pole position to snap up one of Serbia’s brightest prospects.

Inter’s bitter rivals, AC Milan, have recently signed Partizan Belgrade teenager Andrej Kostic for a reported fee of €4 million. 

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu’s men are vying another exciting Serbian talent.

Vasilije Kostov has been on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist since the beginning of the season.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri have already informed the player’s agent and Red Star of their interest.

Widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects, Kostov has already become a first-team regular at the Rajko Mitic Stadion.

Indeed, he has made 37 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 13 goals and adding seven assists.

Moreover, his superb form has not gone unnoticed, with Inter facing competition from the Bundesliga for the 17-year-old.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keeping a close eye on the Red Star forward’s development.

However, the Serie A leaders are in the driver’s seat, having already agreed personal terms with the player’s entourage.
