La Liga pacesetters Barcelona are reportedly eager to sign out-of-sorts Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo via FCInter1908, Los Blaugranas are targeting another high-profile deal, much like they did with Luis Suarez in the past.
Barcelona were vying for Suarez’s signature for years before finally securing his arrival in the summer of 2014.
Indeed, the Spaniards took advantage of the Uruguayan’s notorious ‘bite’ at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Suarez’s antics against Italy derailed his status at Liverpool, facilitating his mega-money transfer to Camp Nou.
Now, Hansi Flick’s men are now looking to pull off a similar deal for Alessandro Bastoni.
Barcelona Targeting Luis Suarez-Esque Deal for Inter Milan Star Alessandro Bastoni
Bastoni’s reputation has taken a series of hits in recent months.
After becoming one of the most unpopular Serie A figures for his Derby d’Italia shenanigans, Bastoni sealed Italy’s fate in the World Cup playoffs.
Indeed, his first-half expulsion against Bosnia & Herzegovina resulted in the Azzurri’s heartbreaking defeat in Zenica.
Therefore, the 26-year-old may have to force his summer exit.
Leaving San Siro could be the best option for the former Atalanta man as he hopes to steer his faltering career back on track.

OK, this time, I am not using any curse word, but why my post still got awaiting moderation??????????
I dont get it. What is the club doing? From Bastoni’s Italia derby to this red card, I havent heard anything from the club step up to protect Bastoni even a word. I think Bastoni will leave for sure. Nobody wants to work in an environment sounds like a team, but actually on himself. I dont know what is going on with management. But this silence really hurts when their players needed support most.
he will go, his story at Inter is over. The pressure that has been mounting over the past couple of months due to is mistakes is such that his stay, both from his own perspective, and from the perspective of the club, is untenable.
Out of this storm in a soup nothing is his fault. he is out and far our best and most consistent player alongside Lautaro. I really hope he won’t go! Would much prefer to see the backs of Turam and Di Marco.
Dimarco? Really?
Dima??? Vanka nqma da spamish taka 🙂
His reputation is rock solid. Unless you believe the constant cheaters in pink. He had to play on the left and was used after an injury. Dont hope for the best.
Forza Inter
Lets win this game and see what happen on monday.
