Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu continues to be heavily linked with a summer transfer to Turkish Super Lig powerhouse Galatasaray.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will opt for a sale if they fail to tie the 32-year-old down to a new contract.

Hakan Calhanoglu emerged as Galatasaray’s top target last summer.

Furthermore, his agent was in constant contact with the Rams Park giants, only for Cristian Chivu to convince the player to stay.

In addition to making amends for his silence, Calhanoglu has pieced together another impressive season despite recurring fitness problems.

Indeed, he has tallied nine goals and three assists in 20 Serie A appearances, helping Inter edge closer to winning their 21st Scudetto.

Inter Milan to Renew Calhanoglu Contract or Sanction Galatasaray Transfer

Galatasaray have not lost interest in the former AC Milan star, whose contract at San Siro runs until the summer of 2027.

Meanwhile, Inter are looking to secure a new deal for the skilled midfielder.

However, should the Turk turn down a new deal, the Nerazzurri will enter negotiations with Galatasaray over a summer transfer.

Moreover, they would be ready to sanction his exit for around €15 million.

On the other hand, Manu Kone and Aleksandar Stankovic could spearhead the summer revolution at San Siro.
