Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan will enjoy much-needed away support when they lock horns with fourth-placed Como on Sunday.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter’s travel ban expired on March 23.
Lega Serie A imposed a multi-game travel ban on the Nerazzurri after the incident that took place at Stadio Giovanni Zini against Cremonese in February.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men were unable to count on their fans in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tie against Como last month.
Moreover, Inter produced one of their weakest attacking performances in that fixture, finishing the game without a single shot on target.
As such, the impending fans’ return comes as a major boost for the San Siro giants.

According to the report, only 980 tickets are available for the traveling contingent.
Nevertheless, even a limited number of supporters could provide a significant lift to the runaway leaders.
Chivu’s charges have amassed a league-high 34 away points on their Serie A travels this season, two more than AC Milan.
However, they have failed to win any of their last two away league games, including a 1-1 draw at relegation-threatened Fiorentina on the stroke of the international break.
