Runaway leaders Inter Milan are one of the four Serie A clubs keen to sign Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka this summer.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the German midfielder’s huge wage demands could stand in the way of a Serie A move.

Leon Goretzka will become a free agent in June, as the Bavarians have no interest in renewing his expiring contract.

Meanwhile, several Serie A teams have set their sights on the former Schalke man.

In addition to Inter, AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus are also considering the 31-year-old a potential cost-effective summer signing.

However, luring Goretzka to Italy could be easier said than done.

Bosman deals have become a hallmark of Beppe Marotta’s career. Therefore, it’s no wonder than Goretzka has emerged as a potential target for the San Siro giants.

However, the player’s substantial salary request could deter Inter.

Indeed, Goretzka reportedly asks for a staggering €10 million signing bonus.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have no intention of meeting such lofty demands despite holding exploratory talks with the player’s agent in recent weeks.

As such, Inter will carefully weigh whether Goretzka fits into their long-term plans.
