Italian journalist Riccardo Trevisani warns Inter Milan that Antonio Conte can steer Napoli back to the title race.
The Nerazzurri currently lead the Serie A with a seven-point advantage over their closest chaser. Therefore, they remain, by far, the odds-on-favourite to clinch the Scudetto title according to the most trusted bookmakers, including those available on highflybet casino.
Over the past few months, AC Milan were identified as Inter’s biggest threat in the title race. After all, Max Allegri’s men have beaten their neighbours twice this season.
The Rossoneri’s second Derby della Madonnina victory saw them reduce the gap to seven points. However, they failed to capitalise on this result as well as Inter’s back-to-back draws against Atalanta and Fiorentina, suffering two defeats to Lazio and Napoli in their last three outings.
Milan’s defeat in Naples signalled a major shift in the Scudetto battle, as the Partenopei have now emerged as Inter’s main chaser.
The reigning champions have placed themselves second in the league table, reducing the deficit with the leaders to just seven points.
Riccardo Trevisani Believes Antonio Conte & Napoli Are A Genuine Threat For Inter Milan
Since the gap remains significant, Riccardo Trevisani insists that Inter sill have a significant advantage in the title race.
The pundit also argues that the Beneamata’s schedule should give them an advantage.
“Inter have three ‘smaller’ teams at home and three sides away with nothing left to play for. Lazio, Torino and Bologna don’t have big objectives,” argued Trevisani during his appearance on Pressing via FcInterNews.
“The schedule smiles on Inter, and five wins could be enough, even if Napoli win all of their remaining games.”
Nevertheless, the journalist warns that a slip-up in next weekend’s trip to Como could come costly for Inter, as it would allow Napoli to edge ever closer.
“But if Inter draw with Como and Napoli close the gap to -5, we’re not going to say it can’t be done…”
Finally, Trevisani proclaims that Conte is perhaps the only head coach capable of pulling off what would be a sensational come-from-behind Scudetto charge.
“Certainly, only Antonio Conte could have put this title race back on track. He went four months without De Bruyne and Anguissa, now Lukaku is gone, Højlund is gone.”
The Partenopei have been dealing with an agonising injury crisis since the start of the season. But aside from Romelu Lukaku, who is involved in another controversial episode, and the injured David Neres, Conte has regained the services of his most important players in the final stretch.

He’s right and I want to win Scudetto before last week when we play against Bologna. We lost 2 Scudetti recently exactly at last week. If we wait until last week, pressure with be big and Bologna with use it very easy.
