Inter Milan are looking to tie Cristian Chivu down to a new long-term contract at the end of what could be a highly successful season.
According to FCInterNews, the 45-year-old’s contract renewal remains one of the club’s highest priorities heading into the summer.
Cristian Chivu is on the verge of winning the Scudetto in his first season in charge of the Nerazzurri.
Furthermore, the Romanian coach could complete a domestic double, with Inter potentially 90 minutes away from reaching the Coppa Italia final.
Therefore, Chivu has earned the club’s trust, with Beppe Marotta and his associates keen to reward the manager with a new deal.

Niko why do you want thuram to leave so badly and he is very good at giving assists and to much of lautaro’s goal. Without him lautaro won’t score goals.
Inconsistency and also lack of effort. We just want better players up front and also hes nearing 30 so it best smart to sell him while hes still worth alot. I am not why anyone would be against this idea if you are wanting the best for Inter
