Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has decided to start Josep Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny against Como in the return leg of a mouth-watering Coppa Italia semi-final tie.

The young players looked fantastic in a free-role hyper-attacking formation. Henrique, Susic, and Diouf all dribbled multiple defenders multiple times. Perhaps a vision of the future.
If we start playing faster with more overload on the wings we may see these three start to blossom.
We will need two fast, dedicated CB to cover if that is the case
Chivu is the best coach I have seen I mean there is on coach that is better than him in substitutions. You can say serie is substandard but bro is too good at substitutions, the best rising manager.
For the league we need to start experimenting since we already have it in the bag. Maybe switch to a 3-4-3 or 4 back and try henrique on the wings. Sucic should play more cuz he’s an amazing player that needs gametime to improve. Sommer just needs to be a bench player for the rest of the season and get Martinez in cuz he’s WAY better as of right now. I want to see more of the players we don’t use to actually see who needs to go and who needs to stay. Double is all but secured now

Yeah i can see the potential in him for just being a pure attacker who doesn’t need to defend all the time. He can be tricky at times but he gets gassed because has to cover the entire right side of the field
As a proper rb/rwb both Diouf and Luis aren’t up to the task, simply not their position. But if Chivu decides to change formation to 4-2-3-1 or something similar both have a place as backup wingers, they maybe even exceed expectation in attacking positions, we also need 2 more players who can cover rw/lw/am

It was crazy watching it go in but there was no cover and Acerbi as the last defender should’ve done better other than just watch. The blame tho goes to Zielinski not because of the miss pass but the cover afterwards. Still Martinez seems to handle pressure much better and not afraid to go out and play for the ball.For me he’s man of the match for keeping Inter in the game.

Deserve is not quite true. Sommer was brilliant last season most of the time, he earned some credit to spend this season. But after Martinez did get his head on straight after that traffic accident, i was of opinion that he should start more to see if we can count on him as n.1 next season, obviously he didn’t convince Chivu. There were some shaky moments tonight, he doesn’t give out reliability, isn’t imposing enough as our past gks like Handa for example.
Martinez had not played regularly to get match fitness. I think we need to judge him after he gets 3-4 back to back games. if this is his level after being on the bench for 95% of the season, he is surely gonna be better then sommer

Martinez is WAY better. He should definitely start. Faster reaction time and taller. You can’t fault him for any of the 2 goals because that was all defense and zielinksi. I feel so secure with him on goal. Sommers time is up and anyone that thinks otherwise does not watch the games.
He wasn’t neither bad or good tonight. Couldn’t do anything with first goal, but with second could’ve positioned better, but that goal goes on Piotr and Acerbi more. Had some saves, but he doesn’t give out reliability that he can carry us 50+ games per season.
Sucic definitely deserved more playing time, time for Mhiki to retire, solid replacements in him and Stankovic for next season. Otherwise Diouf also showed he can make the difference as right winger.
