Inter and AC Milan have officially submitted the economic feasibility report for the new San Siro to Milan’s Council, putting the project’s headline figures before the public for the first time.

According to Calciomercato.com, via SempreMilan, the report values the new stadium scheme at €2.149bn, with the two clubs projecting €418m in annual revenue once the venue and its surrounding real estate are up and running.

Revenue Projections and the Road to 2032

The €418m estimate doesn’t rest on matchday income alone. Offices, hotels and commercial space built around the stadium are all factored into the projection, and the clubs expect the wider real-estate operation to generate a further €265m capital gain on top.

The final business plan for the entire complex was filed at city hall at the end of August, with the joint venture Stadio San Siro SpA steering the process for both clubs. As SempreInter has previously detailed, construction is scheduled to begin in 2027 and conclude in 2031, with inauguration pencilled in for the 2032 European Championship.

Recent months have brought genuine bureaucratic momentum after years of stop-start progress on the file. Even so, there’s no guarantee the timeline holds, and UEFA has reportedly voiced concern over the deadline as the project still faces the standard gauntlet of legal phases and appeals before construction begins.

Should the €2.149bn valuation and €418m revenue estimate materialise as projected, Inter and Milan believe the numbers would help narrow the financial gap with Premier League and Bundesliga rivals. A preview of the new San Siro’s façade is due in October, with preparatory work already underway on the future construction site.
