After TV interviews, Inter coach Stefano Pioli presented himself for the press conference after the defeat against Napoli:

At an Inter fan that asks you if the team doesn’t want to finish in the 6th place, what do you have to say? “It’s wrong to think that way, it’snot true. Our results are more than negative and we have to change that as soon as possible. I still believe.”

Inter, no shots at goal. ” I think that in our recent performances we have lacked something on a mental level, tonight no though. It’s true that we had few, or none, shots on goal. But it’s also true that we created chances. Our difficulties come from facing a strong opponent”.

Gabigol, how come this guy never gets the chance? “Because during the games I make choices that I think will benefit the team. Tonight I had to make a defensive change for the injured Murillo. If not I would have thrown in an offensive playerm I don’t know if that guy would have been Gabigol or not”.

What was the most difficult task facing Napol? “They know how to have possession of the ball, they have a very fast attack but we did prett well in defending that. We lacked competence in keeping possession, maybe because the solutions we gave the guy in possession  wasn’t goog enough”.

Will your be or not to be depend on the 6th place? “I always face the club and we are focused on the present and within short we will meet in order to decide upon the future”.

Why did you go in ritiro? Would you do that again? Other ideas? The solutions we try to find are in order to improve ourselves, this week we worked really well. I have seen the right spirit even if there was a lack in quality. We can still finish 6th, we just have to take advantage of our remaining games”.
