Why did you substitute Palacio for Icardi? “I wasn’t satisfied with how my attack moved, therefore I decides to change something in the attack. I was trying to find more space with the substitutions”.
Next year there will be four spots for the UCL, is it better to start the season without EL in order to focus on the championship? “The most important thing is to finish this championship and have clear ideas of how next season will look”.
During this period, have you ever thought about resigning? “Absolutely not, to be honest I don’t understand the voices for my resignation”.
Your impressions of Genoa? “I knew we were going to face a team like today, they played their game. We weren’t focused enough and didn’t take advantage of the situations we had”.
Is the 6th spot really a realistic objective? Looking at the last couple of performances it doesn’t. “I don’t agree with that analysis. At the moment the players want to give more but can’t. They lack some focus and determination when it comes to key moments in the games”.
Have you spoken to Icardi after the substitution? “No, but I will. Every player can come and talk to me whenever they want to, my door i always open”.
What do you have in mind when it comes to be clear about how the next season will look? “This season has been complicated, we have seen a lot of quality but also lack of quality in this team. This is something that has to be corrected”.
Is there a hierarchy when it comes to taking penalties? “Yes, Icardi is the first guy and Candreva the back-up guy”.
After the game against Fiorentina, has something special happened? “We have worked hard together in order to understand what is wrong. At Florens we stayed in the locker room longer than we usually do, but it was necessary”.
Are you still convinced that you are not falling apart? “Has somebody else said that? If not…”

Puts Eder as a main creative midfielder responsible for transitioning the ball from midfield to attack and then wonders how come we aren’t creating chances and blames Icardi. Great fucking attitude.

Eder needs to be sold, he just can not find his feet at inter, how many chances he needs to prove himself at inter!?
