Inter beat AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza by 3-2 in a thrilling match where the Rossoneri equalized twice before the Nerazzurri captain scored his and Inter’s third goal to take all three points.
Mauro Icardi became the 2nd Argentinian to score a hattrick in the derby della Madonnina, repeating Diego Milito’s feat in 2012 to seal all three points in a dramatic match that had everything. Milan put up a great fight and dominated large spells of the second half but each time they came back Icardi and Inter pegged them back again to take all three points and move up to second spot in the Serie A, only 2 points behind Napoli who host the Nerazzurri next Saturday on the 21st of October.

Seriously , I an driving to Prim, the first city in Nevada from LA, CA …2/3 hours drive…to place a little cash on our win in Napoli.
It should pay pretty good no?
Then maybe even a few bucks on the exact result.
thats very near with Vegas already, ill be in LA during the match vs napoli
As bad, really bad as naga was today, the actual worst was Gaglia.
They were always double press him , because…” he is the guy who loses the ball”.
The clear difficulties we had in the 2nd half in the middle to me have one name tag :
Gagliardini.
Sorry ,wonderful guy, pretty good player potentially, but he needs to step way up.
We cannot afford that.
i completely agree with u, plus during defence gaglia need to press the opponents more in my opinion, his meanness and aggressiveness needs to be increased.
there’re several player played really well in this game.. all our CM are great in the first half, skriniar, handa(apart from his own goal, he actually save us several time), candreva and perisic. but my vote goes to icardi. like i said before the game, icardi have to score from open play again to boost our morale, and he did just that!!.. forza inter!!
3 points ahead of the discolored inmates.
10 points ahead of the “wrong chinese”.
The mysterious ownership ” with money but without money” that even some not too intelligent inter fans this summer were taking as an example while attacking the most serious and solid ownership in serie A…Suning.
A deep, deep breath of pure oxygen for me.
And I am taking bets, with actual $ , that we are not losing in Napoli.
I am putting every dollar I have in the bank on it.
All 18 dollars I have…
“wrong chinese”.. LMAO..XD
I like 18$ part..
apart of icardi … Vecino had a great game . Defense was not on the top today but handanovic make a great job despite his mistake in the second goal
The second goal was just bad luck, he actually made a great save in that play.
Dalbert should be ready ASAP, we couldn’t depend on player like nagatomo.
Candreva for me. Very determined and fought for every ball. Vacino had a bad first half and a very good second half. Nagatomo as usual was the worst player, I think his pass completion was below 50%, Borini looked like Ronaldinho in front of him
As bad as he truly was, still Gaglia ..sorry but in my book he was our absolute worst.
He lost maybe 6 balls in the second half and I can’t remember one good pass he did.
Worrisome.
Gaglia defensively was the most solid Inter player on the field not names Skriniar/Miranda. He lost some balls but he’s only 22. He did great for Italy as well.
Today this is not even a realistic, serious poll.
The thing about Icardi today it wasn’t even just the 3 goals but he also did a couple of truly amazing , world class things, even besides the goals.
One in particular , that no look back pass was the perfect assist and should have been a goal.
Worth mentioning , apart from him:
1)
Handa.
2)
Vecino.
3)
Skriniar.
4)
Candreva till the 55th minute.
Screw ups?
Gaglia and naga today.
Icardi no doubt, his brilliant finishes in first two goals made it happen.
But shoutout to the whole team, they all played great. Handa was a god as usual. Škriniar a rock. D’Ambrosio made some good things happen on the right flank. Candreva’s cross created the first goal. Vecino was an engine and made some amazing runs. Typical Perišić assist for the second goal.
Forza Inter!
Miranda was shit tho, he’s declining and we need a new CB this winter.
Yeah, Miranda hasn’t been top notch the last few games, that’s why I have also been skeptical about his 3 year contract extension if you consider his wages. But it’ll have to do, it’s not like he is a bad defender.
A little harsh.
He made one mistake and is not Speedy Gonzalez anymore, but he does many, great experienced things defensevely.
My only 2 screw ups today were naga and Gaglia.
you have to consider he came back from south america on friday, didn’t even trained with the team and he’s getting older, so ya i understand his under performing
No he doing okay. Bonucci was shit last night.
It was a brutal match.. We did well to come out on top, we can thank Mauro for it.
We did look like we missed midfielders in the second half.. Valero only has 60 minutes of fast play in him
Yeah, Brozović and Joao Mario missing definitely showed and we had limited options. Overall I think our midfield was really solid, but they started running out of steam and had to watch for red cards, which gave them some space.
Candreva made an assist, that add more beauty to the result.. xp

is that even needed to be asked ? 3 shoot 3 goal… is it not enough ?
4 shots*
How can this even be asked?!
Icardi took it all… <3
