Napoli appear set to make their move for Nicolo Barella at the same time as they look set to lose Allan to PSG according to Corriere dello Sport.

Allan will not start in Napoli’s Coppa Italia match against Sassuolo which is seen by the Rome based newspaper as a clear indication that he could be on his way out of the club. Allan is regarded as one of the untouchable players at Napoli but PSG’s alleged €80 million offer for him is simply too good to turn down.

With losing Allan in their mind, Napoli have been in contact with Cagliari over Barella and have proposed an offer worth €40 million consisting of €20 million plus Marko Rog and Adam Ounas who have a combined value of €20 million. Inter and Chelsea have also shown an interest in Barella but Napoli remain in pole position to land the Italian international who looks destined for a bright future at the top.
