RB Leipzig do not have an interest in signing Inter wing-back Valentino Lazaro according to a report from German news outlet RBLive.

Reports in both the Italian and German media have claimed that RB Leipzig are keen on adding the Austrian national team player to their ranks but this report dismisses the others currently circulating and adds that Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen are interested in signing him.

Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr exclusively revealed to SempreInter.com that he is in talks with a Champions League club over his client, who only joined Inter ahead of this season.

Lazaro joined in a circa €20 million deal from Hertha Berlin but struggled to cement a place in the Nerazzurri team and this led to him being loaned out to Premier League club Newcastle United for the second half of the 2019/20 season.

This season the 24-year-old made 11 appearances for Inter and a further 15 for Newcastle United. In his 26 appearances across all competitions he scored two goals and provided two assists.
