Even today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport focuses on Marco Branca’s farewell after eleven years at the club as technical director. “He often took the blame for things that weren’t all his fault,” writes the pink paper and claims that Branca is paying for what happened in the Vucinic-Guarin deal, something that certainly accelerated Erick Thohir’s decision. “ET, quiet but relentless, he takes no prisoners.”

I’m pretty sure that Branca is the scapegoat in this situation. I think that Thohir is trying to make the fans happy and this is something the fans wanted for a very long time.
His leaving means nothing for Inter as it is, the point is to get someone talented in his place.
