Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly returned to the market for a new goalkeeper, as Guglielmo Vicario could join Inter Milan next summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Spurs have begun an active search for a new shot-stopper.

Guglielmo Vicario moved to North London in the summer of 2023 after Inter failed to find an agreement with Empoli.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri had initially identified the 29-year-old as an ideal replacement for Andre Onana.

However, they eventually signed Yann Sommer, with Vicario ending up in the Premier League.

Despite being one of Spurs’ most consistent performers in the last two years, Vicario could return to Serie A at the end of the season.

Indeed, the Italian star has fallen out of favor with Tottenham fans and is already contemplating a summer exit.

Meanwhile, Thomas Frank’s men have already cast a wide net in their pursuit of Vicario’s heir.

Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez has emerged as Tottenham’s top target for the summer.
