Inter Milan could reportedly give underperforming winger Luis Henrique the benefit of the doubt during Denzel Dumfries’ absence.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Dutchman’s lengthy spell in the pits could offer the 23-year-old a chance to cement his starting berth.
Luis Henrique has failed to live up to the billing since swapping Marseille for San Siro in June.
Indeed, the Brazilian has done little to justify his €23 million price tag.
However, he has shown signs of improvement in recent matches.
Inter Milan to Rely on Luis Henrique During Denzel Dumfries Recovery

With Denzel Dumfries set to stay on the sidelines until March, Inter may need to put their fate into Henrique to fill the void on the right flank.
Otherwise, the club would have to invest heavily in the market this winter to sign a new wingback.
Henrique’s performances in Serie A have been largely underwhelming.
Yet, this could be his opportunity to prove his worth to Cristian Chivu and silence his detractors.
There’s a feeling that Henrique only needs to regain confidence to finally unlock his full potential.
