Inter president Erick Thohir gave an interview to Bola News in the Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta.
The focal point of the discussion is of course the recovery plan for Inter and Thohir is very clear: “My goal is to bring Inter to the values that compete in Europe. Myself and the leadership, however, we know that it will take two or three years to rebuild a team that can compete at that level.”
There was also time for a curious anecdote about how president Thohir follows football, even before he became the club’s number one: “Inter, incidentally, was one of the teams that I followed more and that fascinated me more. Personally I like Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Monaco and Ajax, but Inter is the only team that I followed regularly in the past.”

Thohir is a liar. Lied about financial investment in the team. Lied about length of rebuild project. Not good for inter. Not good at all.

Don’t think he needs to splash cash around like PSG or Man City. But a mercato of 20-30 million for Inter would be sufficient, instead of loan deals for players teams are trying to get rid of. Let’s hope this rebuild plan is legit.
I hope we can stand in the same level with arsenal 03/04, barcelona 06, ajax 95, and of course with recent bayern munich.
