Marco Andreolli was satisfied with the way Inter bounced straight back from losing to Cagliari to beat Qarabag 2-0.
Speaking to reporters at the Meazza in the aftermath of the Europa League fixture, the defender said: “When you’re coming off of a defeat like last Sunday’s it’s important to have the chance to get straight back out there. I don’t think we were at our sharpest tonight but we got the win and consolidated our grip at the top of the group. We were really set in our minds, really determined. We did make a few mistakes but the main thing is that we sent out a clear signal.”
“Personally I’m happy with our start to the season. We’re all training hard and are ready to play when needed.”
“The boos? All we can do is keep showing that we’re putting everything into it then we’ll convince the fans with our performances and results.”

You need more bench time to convince me. What happened to Campagnaro? He was pretty solid, why does Mazzarri not use him?
lol Campagnaro was good last season but his performance dropped, meanwhile Andreolli the type of player who can made a immediate impact in defense whenever he play as sub or starting the match, pretty solid base and enough consistency to play in big club like Inter.. True professional and patience enough but still have this hunger to do well every time he needed to, don’t hate the guy, support from the bigger views
Andreolli was dreadful against Cagliari. And yesterday Ranocchia had to cover for his mistakes during the whole game. His positioning is pretty bad and he’s not quick to predict the opposing team’s movement. Otherwise 1vs1 he’s alright. I saw Campagnaro play only against Dnipro and although it’s just one game, I’d say he hasn’t lost his touch.
Yeah, but what Campanaro lost is the capability of playing a full game. His fitness has been terrible for several months. Andreolli is pretty god. He played pretty bad against Cagliary and yesterday (like everybody else). But, honestly I think that is the Nagatomo effect :). Something similar happens to JJ when Nagatomo plays on the Left. He just leaves to much space.
