Gazzetta dello Sport gave its verdict of the debut of Lukas Podolski in Serie A.The newspaper claimed that the German is already an idol for the Inter fans. He showed no fear of his opponents laughing in Tevez’s face when the Argentinian attempted to grab the ball and take a quick free kick. His attitude gave an important signal to his team mates the moment he entered the field. On a technical level the German has already shown his versatility by covering three roles during the second half. Left midfielder, right side of a trident and even falling back to defend once Kovacic had been sent off.
