The Gazzetta dello Sports dedicated a page today for what happened between Icardi and Osvaldo during yesterday’s game against Juventus, in the 86th minute when Icardi was running with the ball on a three Juventus players and decided to shoot instead of passing the ball to the free-wanna-be-one-on-one Osvaldo which resulted in the anger of the latter, and running towards the young striker insulting him, Only Guarin stood between the two Argentines to absorb the situation.
The anger between both players didn’t go with the final whistle as Osvaldo was seen running towards the tunnel after the game where another discussion took place, but after all the two are clear and reconciled but Osvaldo is going to face a heavy fine, it’s also important to mention that Osvaldo’s wife also insulted Icardi through twitter saying:
“Vaffa Icardi, you are selfish, you could have won if you just passed it to Daniel.”

I was more worried when icardi took the shot than if osvaldo had the ball at his feet. Let’s face it, Icardi has scored more goals against Juventus in the last 2-3 years than the rest of the team has so he should always shoot !

if a player is punished for screaming his emotions, then a player who is selfish and dont pass the ball in a match winning situation should also be punished by the club.

I think osvaldo has hold his anger towards icardi in several occassions before. I think he questioned coach’s decision to preferred icardi instead of him, even though he felt tht he’s better in most aspects and more complete then icardi.
Osvaldo is another balotelli – just a renegade soccer player that will never be wanted anywhere let alone have a transfer fee paid for his services. he’s just a jelous baby

as much i hated that wrong decision by Icardi , Icardi is young player that always try to prove himself as a quality player but the coach needs to remind him that making the right decision is always better then trying to score when you could have wrapped the game… Osvaldo on the other hand i know how much he hates Rube and if i remember he enjoys scoring against them and loves to see them lose so his reaction was backed by how he felt that we could have scored and won the game…
Osvaldo reaction is not right but can be understood, Icardi admitting to making mistake should be backed by the team reaction next game to always not being selfish and always making the right move.
positive thing is Inter showed character by trying to beat Rube in their home turf… Pazza INTER like always have been…
good. and for osvaldo he should take his punishment for his behaviour. i know its not all osvaldo fault but he shouldnt overreacting like that to his ownteam mate. he is more mature than icardi. milito or palacio never did that to his own team mate. everyone can make mistake on the field. just let it be a lesson for osvaldo in the future he need to control himself especially to histeam mate.

I have no idea why Icardi didn’t go for the simple pass. Maybe it was an innocent decision, he could have thought that Juve players were anticipating the pass and he could trick them by running through their defense and scoring while Buffon was off his line.
But I cant blame him too much after that finish for his goal, it was spectacular.
