The Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo writes that the renewal of Mauro Icardi’s contract with Inter that seemed imminent has reached a bump in the road. According to the Barcelona based paper the reason of the slowdown is because of the 60 million euro’s release clause that Inter want to insert in the contract. The player’s agent is said not to be pleased with it since it is too high, especially if considering how much Icardi will earn. Mundo Deportivo also writes that Juventus now joins Manchester United and Chelsea in the chase to sign the player.

selfish is one of criteria to be good targetman. even aguero,higuain, they both are selfish. but I think there’s no problem of being selfish as long as you can convert every chances you have into goal. and speak of it, icardi is above higuain with 18 goal. he achieve it in unstable team like inter with no support like higuarin in napoli. so why we need to replace young, prospective, proven striker with someone who ask higher salary, but not better than the one we have?
Its ok to have a young striker, but my opinion is not Icardi.. Better would be Jovetic or Dybala.. Now when you have a good young player, now I was talking about proven and stronger player like Dzeko or something like Higuain in Napoli.. Experience is needed, i belive Dzeko would be best, we need a strong high striker.. Icardi is ok, but for me he is to selfish.. I think that the most important thing right now for INTER is to keep hold of their best talent. We are aparently being punished by FFP, with a huge fine and a squad-reduction in Europe. If we sell Kova and Icardi now, we are begging for trouble. We need to set a squad with the players we have and then add 2-3 smart quality (cheap) players to “complete the squad” . Make it good enough to get to champions league, then next year keep building (then with the added money of CL) we do have a good squad. IF we are to sell someone that could fetch us a decent amount of money, I’d vote for one of the “older” players with value.. ( Handanovic, Guarin..)

CM: Medel, KOVACIC, Brozovic, Hernanes, Guarin, (HERE I would welcome a marquee signing such as YAYA, but NOT if it puts us in danger of more finacial trouble… with the players we have, a good coach such as Mancini should be able to form a strong midfield, that can take us to champions league, when we are there we can strengthen with a MASSIVE midfielder such as YAYA 🙂
ATTACK: ICARDI and SHAQIRI (yes ,the way I see it, they are the only 2 clear starters, that we should build our attack around) Palacio, Puschas..
HERE I think we could do with a good signing, again bye smart or a loan until we reach CL… face it, we cant afford Dybala… but we might be able to get a good deal for Jovetic..

At least now the team is developing a playing style. The first 10-15 min of yesterday’s game were really good. Chievo really wanted to push forward to get an early goal (we conceded to many of those this season), but Inter dominated the tempo. The team looked cool headed moving the ball from one side of the pitch to the other trying to find space… Then if just went south, after the 15th minute, because Chievo decided to sit low and defend the rest of the game and Inter didn’t know what to do to break them. It takes time to develop a team mentality. But, I think now we can play against team that push forward like Roma, Lazio… We just haven’t gotten to the point to be able play against small team that park the bus. In those games you need to play faster and improvise more and we are not there yet. One thing that I am happy to see is that now the teams respect inter again and they go to the GM to defend.

I don’t know what Mancini you are looking on but I think 2 coppa italia with Inter, and break the win streak record in Inter and win 17 games in after each, 3 Scudetto with Inter, 2 supercoppa italia, took City’s first PL title in 44 years and win the Turkish cup! I can’t see what you mean that he is bad!! Give him time, no one will turn Inter back if they get the fans and the club against them in a few month!

I see your point! But we need a squad that fit the coach not a coach that fit the squad because there is no coach tha will win with the Inter squad! The coach who wins titles pick their team not get one and is fin with that, not even Mourhino would win with today’s Inter! And Yaya and Motta is just rumors, I don’t think they will come! Give Mancini time and he will make Inter a winning team and I belive he will make Kovacic to a great CM!
The point with Motta and Yaya is the experience they bring with them. They are champions they have wont tittles. We don’t have players like that in the current squad. With need somebody in the pitch who can lead the team and teach the youngsters. A team wih Kova, Brozo, Icardi…. is not going to win anything unless you mix them with experience players especially in midfield and defence

ok, mate i said that before but you dont care so i will explain it again. in his first stay with inter we were without real competition and even we suck in most of the games….in europe we were trashed by teams that should not be real treat. we had players on the bench cost more then 300mln euros and even players costs alot were not in the squad for some matches..we got lucky with calciopoli so that we didnt have real treat for the title…but in europe we were joke…we played without style …do u remember why moratti got angry and fired him???or u were too young to remember because i do remember!! everyone in europe was mocking us because we was strugguling but keep playing shit players on the field when on the bench we have players for almost 300mln!!! in man city he was on fire buy after buy after buy and in the end man city was kicked out of europe in group stage.he wasted so much money and couldnt even pass the group in CL.he got fired again..then it came galatasaray he start to request expensive players here again although turkey is weak league with 2-3 competaative teams for the title but after he bought snejder, drogba and many mores he failed to win the title and got fired again!!!

I’ll remember that Mancini got kicked because he said he wanted to leave and then Moratti got a contract with Mou but Mancini changed he’s mind and said he want to stay! But at that moment it was to late to to keep him because Inter had a contract with Mou already, that’s why he got kicked and Moratti got angry over the los againt Liverpool! I’ll remember that Inter passed the group even if they played bad! And both Shaqiri and Podolski was Mazzarris asking not Mancinis! No coach has been hatet som much as Mazzarri and that effected the players too, with Mazzarri Inter lived on the individual skill from the player, he hoped they did something good, if not the match was lost!
