Yeven Konoplyanka was a protagonist in Dnipro’s fantastic Europa League run, which ended with the Ukrainian side losing in the finals. The winger is set to leave Ukraine this summer, and today his father and agent Oleg Konoplyanka spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about his son’s future:
Does Yeven want to play abroad?
“Yes. He would definitely have no problem playing in a new league.”
Were there talks with Roma in January, and did the player reject their offer?
“It is not true that Yeven rejected Roma. I can confirm that the Giallorossi were interested.”

With the current squad we have alot of midfielders. What i think we need is just to focus on the defence, becouse we lack major time there. We only got Vidic and Santon that can do a deasent job, the rest is a disaster. Maybe we also need an attacker as backup. But now om talking out of that we play a 4-2-3-1 system, that i hope we do.
damn we have sign 5-6 players already but this site doesn´t say anything about it! Mirante, Zukanovic (or what he is called), Biabiany (he is training with us and the doctors are looking at him and his heart-problems), Tellos has signed today reports say and Duda (a 20 year old Slovenian) signed yesterday
this mamana has also signed I belive…
Also there’s the whole sunderland doesn’t want to pay 10 mil for alvarez – can’t believe such an important topic hasn’t been posted on this site
yes!!! i’ve seen this a while ago and wanted it to be posted here , i wanted to see how the pople in comments gonna respond with . 🙁 several very important news
They don’t really have anything to say legally speaking, a contract is binding so they have to pay up if we decide not to compromise on the price.
sundeland know that they did bad job whit ricky so now they try everthing, but they will paaaay :))
agree! And Inter thinking about taking Sunderland to court because of it!
Plus the last couple of days “looking into” the finances of Thohir and how he goes about his business. It seems like he knows some loopholes and some tax-paradises around!
close as Munich is only a few hours away from Milan?
Where have you read all of this? And what are we going to do with two relegated players from Parma, a Chievo defender and who is Tellos? Do you mean Tello, Barcelona player who have been on loan at Porto? And Duda is from Slovakia and I have not seen any confirmation of him beeing signed either.
calciomercato,la gezzetta ,sportmediaset, di marzio. basically we have signed biabiany (with pics), mirante as a sub since carrizo’s contract is expiring , alex telles of galatasaray , duda is very close . all make sense . great job by ausilio .
alex talles agent denied that inter make any conctats for player
that must be recent i haven’t checked in a few hours, what’s ur opinion on him ? i don’t actually think he’s much of an upgrade over dodo
he is! Dodo is fine going forward but in defense he sucks the big…
have you seen him ? is he a good crosser ? i consider dodo our best crosser currently . since we’re obligated to buy dodo id rather stick with him . a full pre-season with mancini might do wonders for him .
no not really (hehe) but read a bunch of clubs where after him and Mancini knows he very well plus compared to Naga-must-sell-Tomo he will be a nice buy!
read he should be great going forward and is also campable of playing as a winger…
Same goes to telles
i never watched him :/
he did but we all know that clubs and agents deny untill everything is official! Still think he will come, the media in Italy have been talking about him and the Kaya-dude from Gala, both for defense, for some time!
agree my friend, very smart moves all of them indeed! I´m looking forward to see Biabiany back again!
yeah .will most likely be a bench player as he’s an inter academy graduate it’ll help us in the homegrown rule …
Okey, like all those news sites and people who have mentioned Fekir, Lacazette, Jovetic, Yaya etc. Mirante makes sense though since Carrizo (the man who sent us packing in EL) contract is expiring as you said. Biabiany i’m okay with if he is considered to be a super sub for us, former player of Inter and won’t really need time to settle. He wrote Tellos so was confused, if we get him for cheap I would be okay with him aswell, not a regular at Gala, but still young even though Santon has been good for us at LB. Duda I have no trouble with either, young with lots of potential (even though youngsters have been struggling to improve and make an impact at inter) My point was that they are not confirmed signings it’s a difference.
the only one that’s confirmed is biabiany . he’s an inter player and has been training with inter lately .
I can understand that signing, do you know if he is still considerated a player developed by inter?
yes .an academy graduate .
That’s important, we don’t have many of those for Europe 🙂
Important, and he used to be a monster on the right wing and comes in on a free! Very smart move to get him back!
Except we wont be in europe next season 🙁 but biabiany is still a decent back up for shaqiri.
Source ? I read news from this web and Goal.com …. if you know new web please put the link here . thanks 🙂
calciomercato,la gezzetta ,sportmediaset, di marzio . all in Italian . you can use google translator .if you are only interested in inter new you can use fcinternews.it ,fcinter1908.it
yep, like Jackabood say, you can go directly to the surce fcinternews.it and goodle-translate it….
Yes but none of it officially annunced by inter yet. Remember susic? He seems a done deal but the deal off. Same goes daider we had reported have a deal with this guy. Zukanovic also seems not destined for us. The only player that official perhaps biabiany cause he wore our shirt already, but the rest need confirmation from inter not interfcnews.it.
If you want confirmed news only, you should visit inter.it and not goal.com, football-italia or sempreinter!
not really , inter.it wont announce alot of things . gezzetta have actually obtained pictures of biabiany inside the inter training ground . ithey chose what they want to announce
Or confirmation by thohir, ausilio, mancini or other inter elite. If not, it’s not official yet. As for biabiany, maybe we will hear from them soon.
Yes, but the point is none of these transfers are confirmed by club. So the deal may collapse. Inter like to make the deal on stand by cause most of the time we have to wait for higher priority player condition or our player condition (sold). We may have agreed on everything, but we may not pull the last call because one or other thing.
My point was only that this site had not eveo mentioned these players – not the Biabiany or Duda.
Well I have to agree on that. I was wondering the same thing as well.
The prob with him, just like many others from Eastern Europe is the ownership. Noone knows who really owns these players and therefor Roma backed out – they didn´t know who had his rights; the dad, agent, the president of the club, the club it self or someone else. When he has left the club it´ll be much easier to sign him.
He’ll probably go to the BPL
the problem with those free agents is that they want huge wages and we can’t offer that . also i’m not convinced by him
He’s pretty good, but not exactly what we need. But hey, he’s free.
He’s a very rince and repeat player, always going for the same moves, he can do well in BPL where you can actually get space in the wing but I don’t think he would do well in seria a
No, they don’t normally demand huge wages (depending on quality of the player ofc), but they demand huge sign-on-fees like in the region of 5-10m€
i’ve never heard of that . maybe in the major league baseball but in football ? that’s definitely wrong .
No it’s not! When players are signed on a free transfer they get a huge
sign-on-fee. Offcourse this differentiate from the kaliber of the player signed, Khedira would get a higher one than Mirante, but they still get one.
show me or link me to a semi reliable source where it says a free agent (football) would get such thing . it’s absurd . there is no such thing as a sign-on-fee .
This is just one example, it’s easy to Google:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/swansea-city/11356258/Swansea-City-have-to-pay-Bafetimbi-Gomis-8m-signing-on-fee-to-leave.html
he’s not a free agent !! .
He was when he was signed from Lyon to Swansea, and Swansea agreed to pay him 8m£ or about 11m€ on a sign-on-fee over 4 years. And if Swansea was to sell him they would demand that sum for him and stop paying the remaining of the sum.
so the fee was payed at once ?
It will be payed over 4 years in this case.
doesn’t this classify it as wages ?
I believe sign on fee paid in front for the rest of contract length, meanwhile wage is weekly or monthly.
yeah but sindreGud that it will be payed over 4 years .
Mm well im not really sure about that. Assumed the sign on fee is 5m for 4 years cobtract, then we have to pay it in front. As far as I know
yeah that doesn’t really make it a sign-on-fee . i haven’t heard of such thing actually. i haven’t heard of an upfront sign-on-fee baseball style in my life .maybe you guys should call it a bonus .http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/36uker/eli5_american_why_is_there_no_true_freeagency_in/
Well technically sign on fee is like unconditional bonus for the player. Bonus is ussually triggered in some particular circumstances for example number of appearances, number of goals or assists, number of national appearance or if being called by national, or if the club qualify for CL. But sign on fee is the number we have to pay if the player agreed to sign the contract.
Yeah, but we are discussing free transfers. They case when sign on fees usually are the highest. How a club wants to pay it differentiate from club to club most likely. Inter would most likely pay over a few years, but a club like city would just pay all of it upfront.
Oh i just know that the may choose to pay it over years or in front. But it’s clear that the sign on fee is obliged to paid as agreed in the contract even if the player is to be sold the next season. thank you for the new insight mate.
In this case he earns 55000£ a week and will get a sum every quarter for 4 years. And if he are to be sold from Swansey, they would still legally be obligated to paying the rest of it.
yeah that doesn’t really make it a sign-on-fee . i haven’t heard of such thing actually. i haven’t heard of an upfront sign-on-fee baseball style in my life .maybe you guys should call it a bonus .http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/commen…
You are very persistent bro 🙂 but I have an another example, when Lewandowski signed for Bayern he got payed 10m£ upfront when he signed under for them. And when Januzaj signed a new contract with United 2 years ago he got a 5m£ sign on fee for doing so, but that would be payed over 5 years. That might be the reason Icardi her hesitant to sign for us, we might offer a cheap sign on fee? Who knows. And it’s not a bonus, a bonus will be payed out if you reach a set of goals in your contract, could be a number of clean sheets, 10-15-20 goals, 5-10-15 assists, a number of games etc. But a sign on fee are something you are obligated to pay regardless of the performance or if they player have been injured all season. And as I mentioned earlier if it is a rich club they usually pay the fee upfront, if it is a club who are more in the FFP sone they might pay over a set amount of years.
Thanks for the discussion have a Nice weekend 🙂
lol…. the first one is some dailymail crap and the 2nd is the case as the u linked . i want an up front payment 🙂
Whethet it’s free agent or not, in footbal contract negotiation, there is always sign on fee. In free agent case, of course they want the fee bigger as the club wont spend money on him to the former club.
Yep this is true.
how is that true ? where are you people getting this information from ?
In negotiating contract, things being discussed are wage, contract length, sign on fee for player and sign on fee for agent. It’s all based on the player and agent will regardless their market rice or quality. A quality free player, usually asks for huge wage or/and huge Sign on fee. But they als gave to make sense, kokonoplyanka wont ask for 5-10m for sign fee, differs from khedira for example Whom might ask in 5-10m region. Kono, sergio, ayew, most likely will only ask fee in 3-5 region. Not to mention the agent, might want the same amount or slightly less as well.
True, and when a free transfer player negotiate with clubs they usually demand a higher sign on fee since the club don’t have to pay a transfer.
exactly
actually non of khedira nor kokonoplyanka asked for a “fee” according to some reliable sources . juve will sign khedira completely free barring the salary
Forgot to mention bonus and clause of course
define huge wage…
btw, the only way to convince a player to join us is with a competitive salary. but it seems like Inter wants cheaper solutions with moderate salaries – that’s not going to get us back to CL
he wants more that 3 mil..and he is probably liverpool player
oh i know he’s gone, Inter should’ve wrapped the deal months ago – same goes for Schär or Ayew or Gignac, you name it. now there’s no chance to land a sought-after free-agent
i meant generally, for a free player (and a rather good one) it’s better to offer slightly higher salary since there is no transfer fee
this is our great chance, this guy is on expiring contract, Ausilio please attack him
