The buy of Kondogbia for 36 million euros (fee yet to be confirmed) is the third highest transfer fee ever paid by Inter. The record holder is Christian Vieri who Moratti bought for 90 billion lire (46 million euros 1999) and the 35 + 10 million euros paid for Hernan Crespo in 2002.

Lets hold our horses here.There is something called inflation and the value of money through time. We cant compare 1999 and 2002 with 2015. A quick travel through different websites gives us that the 46 millon Euros paid for Vieri in 1999 corresponds to 57 milion euros nowadays. That means that Vieri price tag was almost 60% higher than that od Kondogbia. And this doesnt even consider how inflated the Price of soccer playes is nowaday, when the best players are sold for 100 million. So I hope the hardcore fans out there dont start bitcing about how ET is soending the money

He’s been absolutely terrific for Sevilla and Monaco so far, I’m guessing he should do well. He’s still very young too, so lots of room to grow, especially with Mancini around and all the rumors that other good players are coming in.
