Gianelli Imbula seems far from a done deal for Inter. According to French paper L’Equipe, Porto is now making a move for Bielsa’s midfielder. And the offer made to Marseille is high, 25 million euro’s for a loan with an obligation to buy.
“As always, there is a need to understand what the player wants. He is followed by Valencia and Inter who had already reached an agreement for a total of 19 million”, writes l’Equipe.
Is it possible that the Portuguese club has made such a high offer? Or is it a ploy by a club that wants to sell the player quickly?

The problem is Imbula is worried about his chances od playing with an overcrowded midfield especially with Euro 16 on the horizon. Sometimes the best signings are the one’s you don’t make. With Kondogbia, Medel, Kovacic, Gnoukouri and Guarin, our midfield should be fine w/out Imbula. Reinvest the 20mil on a winger and a reserve striker that the team needs rather than on a player who could be seen as surplus once January rolls around with as much depth that we have

i understand why he is not convinced about his playing time, he probably saw how Ranocchia, Campagnaro, Guarin, Medel or Palacio got selected over and over again, regardless their performances – but hopefully that is going to change next season (right, mancini?!)

Medel was great for us this season, one of the few who performed.
maybe it was the lack of support from his fellow midfielders, but i just didn’t find him impressive enough as a DM. despite his height, he is much more convincing as a CB
So sad if we lose him , we must be hurry but we kill time (like milan did about kondogbia and we get him) .
I think losing him is not that bad.
We still have Kova and Gnou as Regista. Besides, more than a CM, WE NEED WINGERS.
