Today, fomer Inter player Xherdan Shaqiri was presented as a Stoke City player at a press conference in which he explained the reasons that led him to this new experience in England.
PREMIER LEAGUE – “For me it was always a dream to play here. Now I finally arrived, I can’t wait to get started and do what I love the most, that is to play. My first impressions? It was very nice to be at the stadium on Sunday. Unfortunately the result was negative, but I saw many good things. I chose to come because the club has shown that they wanted me strongly, this to me is very important. DIFFERENCES – “I’ve watched a lot of games, I know that Italian football and English are very different. He experiences this all over again. From Bayern (benched and has problem with Guardiola) to Inter (benched and has problem with Mancio), to Stoke.
So, career-wise, it’s a downhill.

I actually am quite impressed with stoke and their transfer window. Van Ginkel, Shay Given, Glen Johnson, Affelay and now Shaq. some pretty decent names for a club like this. can see them making a run for Europa qualification.
