Alot of fans on this site is blaming mancini for the sale which i think is unfortunate. As it seems, the inter board had already decided to sacrifice Kovacic at the end of last season in order to garther funds for this up coming season, but Mancini seem to only veto the sale temporarily in order to work with Kovacic in pre-season to identify where and if he could fit him into a formation which would establish all his talents but as you all saw Kovacic never shined in all the formations and systems Mancini tried him in all of our pre-season games. The team looked more co-hesive without him when they played Athletic Bilboa. If inter kept him for this season, he would of spent alot of games on the bench maybe sold in January.
When a player like Kovacic remains on the bench, pressure is placed on the coach by fans to play or find a place for him and most dangerous, change the team formula in order to play him which caused the downfall of Mazzari and the fracture of the relationship between him and the fans

Yes, you’re absolutely right. However, I think Casemiro has great skills, and could develop amazingly with our current midfield core. I would offload guarin and one between brozovic or medel (most likely brozovic). But yes, it’s imperative reinforce the attack.
