Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is not happy about the Inter rumours surrounding Dries Mertens.
“Inter? We will not make any deals with the nerazzurri, neither coming in nor going out”, said De Laurentiis a few hours ago. Then he added that he has contacted Inter as well.
“I called Inter to ask them ‘how dare you contact one of our players or his agent?’ But Fassone assured me that neither sporting director Ausilio nor the coach have contacted Mertens. None of our players in attack is on their way out. As for Mertens’ agent, I am very annoyed by the rumors he has been spreading. My lawyers will advise me on how to act about that in legal terms.”
