I must agree with you, because we need destroyer in the midfield, someone who will do the dirty work to block an attack. Medel was good, but not sufficient because he’s easily get carded. But, it’s a gamble, IMO.

What I meant by destroyer isn’t someone like Gattuso, but someone like Modric, Busquets, or even Marchisio. Someone who can cuts the opponents, and be the boss in the midfield. As for playmaker, since Inter have target wingers, I don’t think Mancini will deploy one. He might rely on two central midfielder (CMF), one DMF, two Winger Forward (WF), and one CF. And yes, Inter will need playmaker if they will play 4-3-1-2 with Icardi – Palacio/Jovetic upfront.
