Diego Perotti has continued this season like he played the last, he is outstanding at Genoa. Alessandro Costacurta at Sky interviewed him after the game and told him:
“For the way you play, and seeing as there are many who speak your language there going to Inter would be ideal.”
Perotti who was rumored to be close to Inter during the summer transfer window replied:
“There were a lot of rumors during the transfer window, but as I have said before Genoa believed in me when nobody else did and my focus has always been here.”
Will the rumors start again in January seeing as Rodrigo Palacio has a contract that ends this summer and will likely return to Argentina?

I’ve been following his performances since the start of the season and have to say, he’s doing great at Genoa. Shreded Napoli’s defense on several occasions today and was a constand menace. Eder is also an option for the winter, but if I had to pick who we get, I’d be all in for Franco Vasquez. He’s been phenomenal for Palermo, even better than last year. We should get him in the winter, if he continues like this he’d be out of our pay range next summer.

I wanted vazques last year… my jubentino cousin was happy about dyabala and I kept telling him vazquez was the guy that made dyabala look very good that season (not that dyabala isn’t talented)
then lets go all in for Vasquez… and screw Dybala with his jube.

Agree – Perotti is more a attacking winger, and right now we got ourselves a concept that works; that of two hard working wingers who attack but also defends! Perotti doesn’t quite fit that profile I guess but getting someone for the middle to play behind Jojo/Icardi would make sense – (Ljajic is understanding he needs to defend as well on the wing), so Vasquez would be great! BUT Zamparini has said he won’t sell until next summer….
I say this combination of forward already settled…they are all above average…ljajic-jojo-perisic gives us the abiliy of smart give and go combination passing, while Icardi will always be a deadly finisher. If we need speed on the right wing we have the dependable biabiany and if we want experience energizer bunny, we still have the faithful palacio. Furthermore, we still have young raw talent that can add the element of surprise in Ray Manaj. I dont wanna mess the harmony of those attackers by adding/replace few of them in the middle of the season.
I’m happy as long as we don’t get forced to play either Perisic as a CAM or Brozovic/Guarin on a wing. I want us to play with a 4-2-3-1 with Jojo as trequartista, but we don’t have the width in the squad to play with 4 attacking players every game. I think it would be ideal if we could get Perotti or perhaps Mertens in this transfer window and the go for Bellarabi and Vasquez in the summer when we can hopefully attract players with a CL spot.
I think you are right if we keep Icardi would be nice to get another winger and more CAM, Mertens would be a great option and/or Insigne!
